Bethel Ministries

At our church, you will find that we desire to minister to people at every stage in life: from the youngest baby, families, couples, and singles, to the empty nesters, and those enjoying their retirement years. God has a place for you in His church to love and serve Him through our various ministries. Find one or more below that you can get involved with personally.

Ministries by Life Stages

Infants & Toddlers

Parents have the opportunity to leave their little ones (ages 0-3) in a fun and safe environment while they enjoy the other ministries our church provides. Parents can be given a pager to alert them in case of emergency. We have a great group of volunteers who work in our nursery. Each worker is required to have a background check before they are allowed to work with minors in any of our children's ministries.

Children

On Sunday mornings during our Family Bible Study @ 9:15 AM we have classes split up by grade; our Morning Worship Service provides Children’s Church for K4 through Grade 5. We have the Kids 4 Truth Club on Sunday nights @ 6 PM for kids age 4 through grade 6. Summer camp is available for Grades 3-6 at The Anchorage Christian Camp.

Teens

Our teen group, Desire, is for students grades 7-12. On Sunday mornings we have our FBS hour in our teen room, Rm. 107. On Wednesday nights we meet there for a time of worship, preaching, prayer, and games. We have a monthly activity, sometimes for fun and fellowship, other times for serving. Each summer we attend The Wilds Christian Camp in the mountains of North Carolina.

Young
Adults

Singles, college student, and young married couples… all are welcome to join us for our FBS hour and quarterly activities. From going out to lunch, to taking a trip to Carowinds, we enjoy being able to encourage one another. As we learn and grow in God’s Word, we desire to be adults that please the Lord.

Women

Regular activities through our Woman’s TOUCH ministry keep the ladies connected. These, along with the weekly FBS class, provide a great place for women of all ages and stages to encourage and learn from one another. Ladies also have the opportunity to bond over an annual Ladies’ Prayer Advance in Virginia. When we have our Thursday night Bible study, it is also a wonderful opportunity to grow in the Lord together.

Men

As leaders of their families, men have a big responsibility. It is our desire to encourage these men to be godly examples to others around them, leading others in a closer relationship with Christ. We have regular Prayer Breakfasts for a time of fellowship and bearing one another’s burdens. We also attend the annual East Coast Men’s Prayer Advance hosted by Christ Life Ministries.

Family Bible Study
Seniors

Our Primetimers group meets together for regular activities scheduled for edifying and encouraging one another. We also have a dedicated group of widow ladies who continually set before us godly examples to follow in our Ladies of Grace ministry: they meet four times a year to work on service projects. On Sunday mornings many attend the Grace Class or Ladies for Christ class during our 9:15 AM FBS hour.

Opportunities to Serve

Music

We love being able to worship our Great God through the avenue of music. At Bethel, you will find a choir and orchestra of faithful volunteers of a wide age range from our church family who enjoy using their gifts during our services. We also present an annual Christmas musical during the month of December. If you would like to get involved or have questions about this ministry, please see our Music Director, Don Alexander.

Media

We have a team of volunteers who serves in our audio/visual department. They make it possible for the weekly announcements and events to be displayed, services to run smoothly, and give us the ability to have sermons available for livestream, and for you to listen to through our website. As technology progresses rapidly in today's culture, we greatly appreciate those who can use their talents in these fields to better equip the saints and spread the Gospel in new ways.

Outreach

We want to see people reached with the truth and love of the Gospel both here in Cary and around the world. We are partners with over 30                    across many nations who share the love of Christ to those who we cannot reach on our own. This also includes our members taking mission trips to come along side our missionaries and build an appetite for missions within our church home. In Cary, we invite others out through our canvassing and visitation times.
